After LaMelo Ball was photographed wearing the sneakers during pre-season practice, PUMA has now officially revealed a new MB.01 colourway titled "Iridescent Dreams" ahead of the upcoming 2022/23 NBA season.
The "Iridescent Dreams" design is a long way removed from the last "Be You" MB.01s released, which saw PUMA take some of the best elements of previous MB.01 colourways, and combine them to create a bright, bold, and completely unique pair of sneakers.
This time around, PUMA has scaled things back a little by using a single tone to dress the uppers, although the shoes are still accented by several iridescent details to reflect LaMelo's bold skillset on the court.
With that in mind, here's everything we know about the "Iridescent Dreams" MB.01s release so far...
PUMA MB.01 Iridescent Dreams Release Date
The "Iridescent Dreams" MB.01s are out now in the US as of 22 August 2022, however, we're yet to see confirmation of their arrival in the UK just yet.
That said, previous MB.01 colourways, like the "Bluemazing" and "High Risk Red" sneakers, have launched in the UK alongside the US release date, so there's a chance we could see the "Iridescent Dreams" debut in the UK this August as well.
Take this with a pinch of salt for now though as PUMA is yet to officially confirm the "Iridescent Dreams" arrival in the UK at this moment in time.

PUMA MB.01 Iridescent Dreams Design
As touched on, the "Iridescent Dreams" colourway features a single black tone across almost every inch of the shoes, including the inner lining and outsoles.
However, as their name suggests, the sneakers also feature several iridescent silver details, mainly in the form of PUMA and LaMelo Ball's unique branding.
For instance, the monomesh uppers feature luminous “Not From Here” logos, while Ball’s signature “1 of 1” motto hits the tongues and forefoot areas in the same iridescent material.
Around the back, you'll find shiny “M.E.L.O.” lettering placed vertically down the heels just below PUMA's branding.
In terms of technology, the sneakers feature the MB.01's usual NITRO foam midsoles for superior responsiveness and comfort, plus non-slip rubber outsoles to improve traction on the court, thus placing the sneakers in and amongst some of the best basketball shoes around right now.
PUMA MB.01 Iridescent Dreams Price
PUMA's official listening of the "Iridescent Dreams" colourway confirms their retail price as $125 in adult sizing.
No word just yet on whether smaller and subsequently cheaper kids' sizes will also be made available at any point, so stay tuned for further updates right here.
