The new Air Jordan 1 Mid "Grape" colourway has officially been revealed, leaving many fans wondering if Nike has announced a release date yet?
Fans may recognise the classic "Grape" colour scheme from the Jordan 5s worn by Will Smith in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Therefore, to capture the retro '90s aesthetic, Nike has borrowed the design and applied it to these Jordan 1 mid-tops.
With the addition of these "Grape" sneakers, 2022 looks to be an exciting year for Mid releases, particularly with the special edition "Green Python" and "Inside Out" mid-tops expected to arrive over the coming months.

When Is The Air Jordan 1 Mid Grape Release Date?
There's currently been no word on when exactly the "Grape" Mids will be released. However, the sneakers are expected to launch at some point in 2022 according to reports.

Air Jordan 1 Mid Grape Design
As touched on, this retro "Grape" design is incredibly reminiscent of some of the best Jordan 1 colourways from the '90s thanks to the bright purple and teal tones.
Teal hues dress the heels, toe boxes, and Swooshes, while the bright purple comes in around the collars, mudguards, and laces.
Both of these colours are then contrasted by the black base layer, most notably found across the mid-foot areas, tongues, and interior linings.
Jordan branding then features on the tongues and around the ankles, with the usual 'Wings' insignia showcased in black across the teal background. You'll also find the Nike logo placed in the centre of the outsoles.
The sneakers also sit on top of the classic white Nike Air midsoles, thus rounding off these mid-tops in typical Jordan 1 fashion.
Air Jordan 1 Mid Grape Price
As with the release date, no information has been revealed regarding the price of these "Grape" mid-tops just yet.
However, based on the usual cost of Jordan 1 Mids, we predict the "Grape" colourway will retail for somewhere around $135.
