Official images of the new Air Jordan 1 Low "Homage" showcase a unique mirrored design split right down the middle, leaving many sneaker fans curious as to when a release date will be announced by Nike.

The "Homage" style was first seen in 2018 when Jordan brought out the "Homage To Home" 1s, a reference to the OG "Bred" and "Chicago" colourways from 1985, the latter of which is being reimaged later this year.

While the 2018 release featured the fan favourite Bull's colours, the latest design adopts a slightly simpler colour scheme. With that said, here's everything we know so far about the upcoming "Homage" release.

When Is The Air Jordan 1 Low Homage Release Date?

Currently, Nike is yet to disclose details surrounding the release of the "Homage" low-tops.

Reports suggest they will arrive at some point in 2022, with more information likely to be revealed over the coming months; however, this is yet to be confirmed by the brand.

Interestingly, the "Homage To Home" colourway dropped on 19 May 2018. While this isn't much to go off, it could provide some indication as to when we're likely to see the "Homage" release occur in 2022.

This is purely speculation though, so make sure you check back in with us as we'll be keeping this article updated with the latest news as and when it arrives.

Air Jordan 1 Low Homage Design

As mentioned, the "Homage" colourway, much like the "Home To Homage" original showcasing two of the best Jordan 1 colourways around, features an inverted, mirrored design that splits the sneakers right down the middle.

Down the lateral sides, you get a traditional white leather base layer with black overlays, including the Nike Swooshes.

By contrast, the medial sides feature the complete opposite, with white overlays combining with the black base layer.

The unique inverted design splits the shoes right down the middle, yet the usual Jordan 'Wings' insignias still appear in just white across the heels, making it almost camouflaged against the white leather across the medials.

To round off the look, you get a simple black outsole under Nike Air midsoles for added comfort and cushioning.

Air Jordan 1 Low Homage Price

Without an official listing, it's hard to know exactly how much a pair of the "Homage" Jordan 1s will cost.

The 2018 "Home To Homage" release retailed for $160. It remains to be seen as to whether the 2022 "Homage" colourway will continue the same trend, but we believe the sneakers will likely cost somewhere around this price.

Again, this is purely speculation though, so stay tuned to find out more.

Where To Buy The Air Jordan 1 Low Homage

We believe one of the first places you'll find a listing for these "Homage" low-tops will be at the Nike store under the new releases, Jordan, or basketball subsection.

We'd also recommend signing up for the push notifications as soon as the listing goes live on the SNKRS page or App to ensure you're completely prepared for their upcoming arrival.

You could also keep an eye on the resale market at StockX if your initial attempt at purchasing a pair is unsuccessful on release day.
