A new PS5 stock drop from two major UK retailers is on the way soon

If you're still having a hard time getting a next-gen console, you'll be pleased to know that two retailers have just received a new batch of PS5 stock and they're poised to drop it soon.

Stock shortages have defined the narrative for a lot of people when it comes to discussing the PS5 and Xbox Series X; However, times are changing. PS5's are becoming more and more readily available. It's just a case of getting your hands on one.

ASDA & ShopTo PS5 Stock

According to a notable PS5 stock tracker, PS5Instant, both ASDA and ShopTo has PS5 Stock. They just got their hands on it though, so we're not expecting them to release any today.

However, there are confident claims that the PS5 stock drop will take place within the next week. Retailers don't usually release stock over the weekend, so if they don't drop their stock tomorrow then we'll have to wait until Monday, June 14th.

It's worth noting, there are a few ways you can help improve your chances of beating the online queues to secure a PS5 when they go live. Firstly, save your payment details on ASDA and ShopTo. This will make checking out a lot smoother and save you a lot of time.

In addition to this, there are reports that if you add the item to your wishlist it helps with speeding up the "browse to basket" process.

Additional Restock Dates

On the by-and-large, May was a pretty great month for getting a PS5 when you compare it to March and April. We're anticipating June to be similar. So far we've seen GAME Digital release a significant amount of PS5 stock and now we're looking forwards to the rest of the month...

Below, we have the predicted dates when UK Retailers are going to be getting their PS5 stock.

  • Smyths Toys - June 3 to June 4
  • John Lewis - June 8
  • Studio - June 8 to June 10
  • Very - June 8 to June 10
  • Scan - June 11
  • Argos - June 21 to June 24

It's worth noting that this is when the UK retailers are due to get the stock and not when they're selling them. We're expecting a bit of lag between these dates and when they're going to drop their PS5 stock.
