How to earn Overwatch Credits in Overwatch 2
According to a post on the official Overwatch website, “Now, all players can earn up to 1500 credits as free rewards and another 500 credits as premium rewards spread throughout Season 3 Battle Pass. We are also adding more uses for your Credits so you can choose from many potential rewards."
This means that Overwatch Credits will be tied to the Battle Pass System, meaning that players will only be able to earn credits while a Battle Pass is active. Players can earn Overwatch Credits by completing weekly and daily challenges.
So, by just playing the game, albeit, completing challenges, players can passively or actively earn Overwatch Credits. It's worth noting that Legacy Credits and Overwatch 2 Credits are the same thing, this means that chances are, you've already accrued some throughout the time you've played.
Additionally, nearly all the epic and legendary-tier skins prior to Overwatch 2's launch will always be available in the hero gallery for players to purchase with either Overwatch Coins or Credits—Seasonal skins included.
The pricing for these skins has been lowered to 1500 Coins or Credits.
So that's it! Earn Overwatch Credits to your heart's content. Now there are other ways for players to obtain skins in Overwatch 2.
