MLB The Show 21 July 30 Roster Update: Cedric Mullins among five new Diamonds

With the 5th Inning Program also arriving today, it's no shock that the "5" theme continued with the latest roster update.

We've had a full three weeks since the last major roster update for Live Series players in Diamond Dynasty, and as such some players made big leaps this time.

FIVE FIVE FIVE FIVE FIVE: That's how many new Diamonds we have

Cedric Mullins improved his stock the most, going from 81 OVR to 86 OVR to earn Diamond status, while Rafael Devers was close behind as a 4-point jump took him from 81 OVR to 85 OVR.

On top of that, we saw Bo Bichette, Teoscar Hernandez, and Freddy Peralta all make smaller jumps to sneak into the 85+ club and earn Diamond status.

At the top of the pack, we saw some major leaps as Fernando Tatis Jr., Vladimir Guerrero Jr., and Max Muncy all saw an increase leaving them each with 92+ OVR ratings.

Unfortunately, each roster update also sees some players falling, and we saw Cody Bellinger and J.T. Realmuto lose enough points to go from Diamond down to Gold tier.

Top 30 Diamond Dynasty Ratings Changes

While the focus will certainly be on the new Diamonds or the biggest moves at the top of the pack, tons of other ratings were in flux this time.

The extra week between major updates definitely played a role here, as we've got a lot of movers when it comes to Live Series cards in Diamond Dynasty.
