When Is Chivalry 2 Coming to Steam?

Releasing a few weeks ago, Chivalry 2 has proven to be a pretty popular multiplayer fighter.

Coming to PlayStation consoles, Xbox, and Epic Games Store, it's already got a sizeable player base.

However, a bunch of players are still waiting for Chivalry 2 to come to Steam before they can play it. If you're one of those players, we've got everything you need to know about when Chivalry 2 is coming to Steam.

When Is Chivalry 2 Coming to Steam?

While it's not out now, being exclusive to Epic Games Store on PC at the moment, it has been confirmed that Chivalry 2 WILL come to Steam at some point.

The terms are outlined on Steam itself, and we've included them below:

"Chivalry 2 is developed by Torn Banner Studios, published by Tripwire Interactive and will be available for PC on the Epic Games Store at its launch in 2020. It will release on other PC platforms 12 months later, such as Steam."

Chivalry 2 Steam Release Date

Therefore, you're going to have to wait until June 2022 at the earliest if you're looking to play Chivalry 2 on Steam.

Whether it'll be exactly 12 months after the initial release, or some time around then, it's not clear, but we'll likely hear more in 2022.

For now, you'll have to play the game via Epic Games Store if you're wanting to play Torn Banner's game on PC.

As for what other platforms Steam is referencing in "release on other PC platforms," we're not quite sure.

However, it'll likely be the usual, such as GOG. That'll also likely be confirmed closer to the release date, sometime in 2022.

The other thing to keep your fingers crossed for is that Chivalry 2 still has a healthy player base come Summer 2022. After such a strong start, it should do.
