The Quarry Release Date & Time

The Quarry will be released worldwide on Friday, 10 June. As for the exact release time, nothing official has been revealed yet so we can only assume that the game should be available to play from midnight on release day.

The only exception to this may be the Steam version of the game. Sometimes, Steam games are not released until around 6 pm BST / 1 pm EST / 10 am PST due to the way that the store is updated each day.

The Quarry Pre-Load

Pre-load for The Quarry is already available on consoles! This means if you have already pre-ordered your copy of the game on Xbox Series X/S or PS5, you can install it now ready for release day.

There is no word on is pre-load for PC will take place and the game may be available to download only once it is out. The game file sits at just under 50GB.

Is The Quarry on Xbox Game Pass?

No, The Quarry will not be launching into Xbox Game Pass. While Supermassive has had Man of Medan from the Dark Pictures Anthology on Game Pass in the past, there's nothing to suggest there's any kind of ongoing relationship between then and Microsoft.

There is, however, every chance that the game could end up in Game Pass at a later date once we are well clear of the release window. This would most likely be in 2023.
