PUBG Mobile's regular update schedule has really improved that game. The next patch to come is the PUBG Mobile 1.9 update, which is close now. We have everything you need to know about it, including the full release date and time.
Confirmed - PUBG Mobile 1.9 Update Release Date & Time
The beta version of PUBG Mobile 1.9 arrived in mid-February, but now it's time for it to come to the full game.
The developers have now confirmed when the update will arrive. On Twitter, they announced that PUBG Mobile 1.9 will be coming alongside the 4th anniversary celebration on March 18.
The update itself should be live for you at 12pm GMT/8am ET on March 18, but we'll confirm once it's available for download, as it may come early.
How to Download PUBG Mobile 1.9 Update
If you want to download it yourself, just follow these steps on whatever platform you're playing on.
- Open up your App Store.
- Head to the 'Updates' tab or search for 'PUBG Mobile'
- Select the update option and wait for the file to download
- Enjoy everything that PUBG Mobile 1.9 has to offer!
Royale Pass
Then, after the current Royale Pass ends and update 1.9 is released in PUBG Mobile, another Royale Pass should begin.
Since the new update is only live on the beta version, we're still waiting on details of the new Royale Pass. They should come in the week before the update is fully revealed and dated, so keep checking back with us for details.
Patch Notes
On top of various weapon changes and map alterations, the main new feature coming in PUBG Mobile 1.9 is the mode Royale Arena: Assault.
Since the period in beta is to work out any issues with 1.9, the developers haven't released the full patch notes for the update, but they will be just before it goes live to everyone. As soon as they do so, we'll update you with the full list here, so keep checking back.
