There's going to be crossplay AND cross-save?

Pokemon Unite on mobile devices is going to release as a near-identical version of the game to the Nintendo Switch release. Both cross-save and cross-play features are also going to be available at launch.

In regards to cross-play...

" Cross-platform play between Nintendo Switch and mobile devices is planned, which will allow players to battle together and against one another."

And, in regards to cross-save features...

" ... if you log in using your Nintendo Account or Pokémon Trainer Club account, you’ll be able to use your game data on any device. With this feature, you’ll be able to enjoy playing at home on your TV screen using the Nintendo Switch version, as well as easily play on the go using the mobile version."

If you want to prepare for the release of Pokemon Unite on mobile devices, we recommend creating a Nintendo Account or a Pokemon Trainer Account. If you already have a Nintendo Switch, you should already have a Nintendo Account and might have a Pokemon Trailer Account.
