Ghost Recon Frontline Closed Test: How to Register & Start Time

Ghost Recon Frontline is trying to revive Ghost Recon in a new direction after the pretty poor launch of Breakpoint. Here's what you should know about its closed test.

Latest - Closed Test Postponed

The closed test has now been postponed to a later date. This is likely to polish it up as the first impression is incredibly important.

They probably want the game to make a splash so a good first test is important. If it were to come out now and feel broken, it could sink the game on launch.

What is Ghost Recon Frontline?

Likely inspired by the huge popularity of battle royale games like Fortnite and PUBG, Ghost Recon Frontline is a big tactical free-to-play shooter. The franchise hasn't been active since the poor launch of Ghost Recon Breakpoint in 2019, and this seems to be Ubisoft's attempt to bring back the Ghost Recon name to a wider audience.

This free-to-play model likely means we will see tonnes of tests over the next few months leading up to the game's full release. Functionally, you must combat against other players to complete objectives and earn new gear.

You can then earn contractors who can help your team finish each quest. Frontline aims to provide a class-based PVP environment, where you and some buddies must tactically choose your gear to finish each mission. The only way to know if they've pulled it off is by playing it yourself. Here's how you do that.

How to Sign up for Ghost Recon Frontline Closed Test

Signing up for the closed test is pretty easy. You simply have to go onto the site and click the Register button. From here, choose your platform and answer the questions. They are optional and only asked to get more accurate feedback after the test.

That's it, you're registered and ready for the test. Eventually, if you're chosen, you should get an email from the team given you details to log in and try it for yourself. If you aren't successful this time, it seems likely that they will run another one in the near future. Just wait and you should be able to give it a go for yourself.

Closed Test Start Date and Time

Originally, the closed test was supposed to go live on October 14th but, since it has been postponed, we don't know when it will start.
