Hogwarts Legacy PC System Requirements

Hogwarts Legacy is finally here and letting players live their dream of being able to create their own students and explore the world. After a long time of being starved of Wizarding World content, this game is a breath of fresh air.

Keep your chin up if you're on PC though as while Hogwarts Legacy may look graphically imposing, its system requirements aren't that demanding for a brand-new game as we've listed below.

System Requirements For Hogwarts Legacy

J.K. Rowling's creation may be a world of magic and fantasy but you won't need to dip into the dark arts to conjure up a PC capable of running it as a pretty standard gaming PC for 2022 will seemingly do the trick and then some.

Revealed via its listing on Steam, there are two sets of system requirements targeting different performances, something which the developers have actually very kindly pointed out. Below you can find a breakdown of both the minimum and recommended specs.

Minimum System Requirements

Thanks to the notes added by the developers, we know that the listed minimum system requirements for Hogwarts Legacy are targeting 1080p and 60FPS with Low Quality graphical options and an "Upscale Performance Setting" which we don't currently know about.

Recommended System Requirements

We now also know that the "Recommended" system requirements are also targeting a 1080p resolution at 60FPS but on the High Quality graphical preset. This does mean that for players hoping for a higher resolution on PC, a stronger system is required.
