Ubisoft's Far Cry 6 is finally out, following a delay or two. With all the subscriptions we have nowadays, it's tough to remember what's included in each of them. One question fans have is: will Far Cry 6 come to Xbox Game Pass? Well, we've got everything you need to know.
Latest - Far Cry 6 Is Out Now
Far Cry 6 is out now on PC and consoles, so everyone can pick it up if they'd like.
Heading into Yara to battle it out in the tropical island is a lot of fun and there's more to do than ever.
Will Far Cry 6 Come to Xbox Game Pass?
First things first, Far Cry 6 will not be on Xbox Game Pass when it first releases - that is something we know for sure.
It's usually only indies, big EA titles, and Xbox exclusives that launch on the service, with other big publishers choosing to keep their games back.
However, that does not mean Far Cry 6 will never come to Xbox Game Pass. Other Ubisoft games have come to Game Pass in the past, including For Honor, so it's entirely possible that Far Cry 6 joins it down the line. Just don't expect it to be anytime soon.
There has been rumours of more Ubisoft games coming to Game Pass flying around this year, so just keep your fingers crossed.
Far Cry 6 on Ubisoft+
However, there is a gaming subscription service that Far Cry 6 WILL be on, and that is Ubisoft's own Ubisoft+.
That service is only available on PC, but you're able to play all of the publisher's new releases on launch day.
Ubisoft has confirmed that Far Cry 6 will be released for Ubisoft Plus on on October 7, so you can jump in then.
It was confirmed via the Ubisoft Youtube Channel, where the description for the ad states players can "Subscribe to Ubisoft+ to play ALL the Far Cry games and get access to Far Cry 6 on the day they launch!"
If we hear any more about Far Cry 6 coming to Xbox Game Pass in the future, we'll be sure to let you know.
