Far Cry 6 has arrived and its huge map is just begging to be explored. Hopefully, you'll have plenty of time to offer it over the holidays!
Alongside taking out bases, doing main missions and finding secrets, Far Cry 6's contraband is a great way of getting some nice equipment early on. If you're looking for a way into Fort Quito in Far Cry 6 and want that precious new weapon, here's what you should know about where to find the key.
Far Cry 6 Fort Quito Key Location
Below is a full walkthrough of all the steps you'll need to take to get your hands on the key.
How to Get Into the Armory
Getting into the armory is actually pretty easy but it might take you some time if you're not paying attention. Being part of the main story, you can't miss its location but you can miss the key.
Search around the fort and tag all the enemies. The soldier with a yellow aura will be holding the key. If you killed him without realising, you will have to search around for his body. Luckily, the game automatically loots so you just have to stand over him.
From here, use that key on the door and get into the armory.
How to Get the Contraband
The contraband may allude you on your first time at this fort. The door in front of says it's locked so you may think you have to find a key. Instead, just go around to the side and break the wooden board on the side.
The will earn you the two-star pistol "The Autocrat", a pretty decent early game weapon. It does tonnes of damage and is one of a handful of unique pistols you can grab in Far Cry 6. You can use this to take on the rest of the starting missions, earn your preorder bonuses and finally get into the main story.
This is made even easier in co-op. You can read all about it and how to access it right here.
