AEW Fight Forever roster adds three current champions in new trailer

The AEW Fight Forever roster may not be quite as expansive as what fans can see on TV, but some of the company's top names have just been confirmed.

We've got details on the new trailer at Full Gear and how it's shaken up what we already knew about the AEW Fight Forever roster.

AEW Fight Forever roster adds three current champions

After debunking a report about the title potentially hitting Xbox Game Pass, AEW Games have finally delivered some new AEW Fight Forever footage.

The new AEW Fight Forever reveal trailer premiered during AEW Full Gear on the night of November 19, 2022 with several major confirmations.

Three current AEW champions who had not previously been shown or even reported as part of the confirmed AEW Fight Forever roster were showcased in the trailer you can watch below.

AEW All-Atlantic Champion Orange Cassidy was the first to be shown, as we now know he will join the roster at launch.

While he had not won the belt when the trailer was first shown, by the end of the night MJF became the new AEW World Champion and this trailer has also confirmed his place on the roster.

It's no surprise that Maxwell Jacob Friedman has made the cut, as he's been a mainstay of AEW since the very beginning, but it's great to finally see his character in action.

Finally, the third was TBS Champion Jade Cargill who we saw just a glimpse of near the very end of this trailer.

AEW Fight Forever trailer also confirms two reported superstars

While the three champions mentioned above have only just been learned about, there are two huge names we got word about some time ago.

Despite not being shown in footage up to this point, a Fightful Select report back in May stated that Sting and Bryan Danielson were both going to be in the game at launch.

We've now finally got confirmation of that, as both legendary competitors were shown more than once throughout this new trailer reveal.
