It may be the end of the month, but that doesn't mean the releases are slowing down.

After a busy month that saw hit games such as Outriders, Oddworld: Soulstorm, and MLB: The Show 21 release, the end of the month is just as busy.

Here are four games you need to be checking out next week.

April 28th will see the launch of both Genshin Impact 1.5 and the release of the game on PlayStation, marking the first next generation of the game.

In a blog post, Sony revealed what to expect from the upcoming PS5 port, including 4K resolution, improved frame rate and near-instant loading times.

"We’ve been working to develop various functions to fully utilize this next-gen console in the long run: we created a graphics library completely from the ground up, and we built a customized file-loading system to take advantage of the powerful SSD of the PS5. So in future updates, we will have much more potential to elevate the visual quality and game performance"
"Look closely at your surroundings, and the high-res texture will tell you a unique story in every tiny detail; raise your eyes to the horizon, and the enhanced Level of Detail distance will bring you an impressive view of landmarks near and far. Even better, the PlayStation 5 allows you to run all these details in native 4K resolution. If you have an HDR display, with our HDR support, you can enjoy an even more vibrant look at the world"

Originally released in 2019, Terminator: Resistance is making its way to the next generation.

The game will feature "a range of visual improvements taking advantage of the PS5’s more powerful hardware, including upscaled 4K resolution and locked 60fps, higher resolution textures, higher polygon counts, tessellation, improved lighting and dynamic shadows, improved post-processing (anti-aliasing, bloom and more), and more detailed particle effects."

Terminator: Resistance will feature all of the updates that the PC version has received.

It will also be free for PS4 owners to upgrade, or purchasable for new players.

One of the first new IPs for the next generation, Returnal will be released on April 30th.

Returnal is a third-person action sci-fi shooter with some unique mechanics.

Every time the player dies the world changes, overhauling its appearance, enemies, and locations of items.

This should add a lot of replayability and give each player a more unique experience.

It's a fun experience and a great game to relax with. There will also be a printer released for $169.99 which will allow players to print out the pictures taken in the game, as well as in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
