X Factors ready to make a massive return in Madden 22

Madden 22 is finally official, and we're more excited than ever to see X Factor abilities make a return this year.

The Madden 22 ratings have been getting more and more in-depth, with the top tight ends being released today. With new ratings, we could see new players with X Factor abilities.

While more news is set to be revealed between now and the title's release date, here's everything we know so far about X Factors in Madden 22.

*LATEST* Madden 22 Ratings mean more X Factors

New ratings have been released for Madden 22, and a couple of players could see an X Factor ability in their future. One of which is a tight end who had a huge 2020 season.

Here's a few players that could see an X Factor ability added to their character.

  • Darren Waller, TE, Las Vegas Raiders - 93 OVR
  • Allen Robinson, WR, Chicago Bears - 90 OVR

Madden 22 Reveal Trailer & Release Date

Madden 22 has now been announced, and with that came the first official trailer with an amazing look at this year's gameplay.

On top of the trailer being released, we now know Madden 22 is set to be released on August 20, 2021.

However, anyone who chooses to pre order the Dynasty or MVP Edition will gain Early Access to play as soon as August 17, 2021.

Will Madden 22 have X Factors?

Yes, we can confirm that X Factors are returning in Madden 22 as we did get to see them when in the Community Playtest (Closed Beta).

As far as we could tell during the limited time that was given to experience the beta, they'll operate relatively the same as they have in previous games.

All Madden 22 X Factor Players & Abilities

While we did get to see all of the X Factors built into the game at that time and assigned to various players, who they're assigned to could still change between now and launch day.

The same is true for the abilities themselves, as we were testing out an unfinished early build of Madden 22, but what we learned is a major indication of what we could see when the title is released.

  • Patrick Mahomes: Bazooka (Max throwing distance increased)

  • Lamar Jackson: Truzz (Can't fumble as a result of a tackle)
