FIFA 21 Ultimate Team was dominated by pace, and you can expect a change for FIFA 22, with strength likely making a comeback.
So you could be in luck if you like to play direct football - but make sure you have the right personnel.
Here are the strongest players expected to feature in FIFA 22.
Adebayo Akifenwa (STR 96)
There's simply nowhere else to start with Adebayo Akinfenwa set to hold onto his title of the strongest player in the FIFA series.
The Wycombe striker is now 39 however, so we expect him to return to a bronze rating of 64 , after scoring just one goal in 33 Championship appearances last term.
Daryl Dike (STR 96)
Keep your eyes on Daryl Dike's FIFA 22 overall rating over the course of the year.
The Orlando City forward started FIFA 21 rated just 61, and after nine goals on loan at Championship side Barnsley earlier this year - the American international is ready to explode.
Romelu Lukaku (STR 95)
Premier League defenders watch out - Big Rom is back.
The returning Chelsea striker destroyed Arsenal's defence in August, and if the Belgian finds top gear - the Blues may well be title favourites this year.
Abdoulaye Seck (STR 95)
Another climber for FIFA 22, Abdoulaye Seck was rated just 69 at the start of FIFA 21 - and he could well earn a gold card this year.
The Senegal international chalked up 45 appearances for Royal Antwerp last season, the most games he's ever played in a campaign in his career.
Armando Mendez (STR 95)
Nicknamed "Hulk" by his teammates - thanks to a protein-rich diet that includes 10 eggs a day - Armando Mendez is not your typical footballer.
The right back does at least have mobility to back up his impressive strength, and we really fancy having a go with him in FUT to see what he offers.
Erling Haaland (STR 94)
The "Terminator" offers speed, strength and lethal finishing.
Erling Haaland smashed 41 goals in 41 games in all competitions last term, and it's a terrifying thought as to what the Dortmund forward could rack up this season.
Kalidou Koulibaly (STR 94)
One of Serie A's most solid defenders in recent years, Kalidou Koulibaly has remained loyal to Napoli despite interest from abroad.
With two years remaining on his contract and the Senegal international aged 30 - the window to make that big move is closing.

We all thought Sebastian Coates would never reach his potential, having joined Liverpool aged 20, and saw his career stall at Sunderland.
But regular game time at Sporting Lisbon over the past four years has paid off, with the Uruguyan international chalking up over 180 appearances for the club - scoring 20 goals.
Geoffrey Kondogbia (STR 94)
People often forget Geoffrey Kondogbia's quality, with the midfielder having represented top clubs like Sevilla, Monaco, Inter Milan, Valencia and now Atletico Madrid.
Despite Atleti's midfield options being stacked with Koke, Saul, Lucas Torreira, Hector Herrera and Marcos Llorente last season - Kondogbia still made 27 appearances.
Tomas Petrasek (STR 94)
It was a fantastic season for Tomas Petrasek last year, with the Rakow Czestochowa defender earning his first Czech Republic cap last October.
