Latest - CR7 receives INSANE Team of the Group Stage card
Cristiano Ronaldo showed his world-class quality in Manchester United's run of Champions League group stage matches.
CR7 has scored six goals in just five matches in the UCL this season and in the most crucial of moments too!
Ronaldo has been rewarded with this insane 92 OVR TOTGS card in Ultimate Team, which is valued at 2.1 million coins on PlayStation and 1.8 million coins on Xbox.
Cristiano Ronaldo FIFA 22 Base card
Despite scoring 36 goals for Juventus last season, Ronaldo's OVR drops by one for FIFA 22.
This is likely down to CR7 now being 36 as well as Juve missing out on the Serie A title for the first time in 10 years.
Cristiano's pace falling -2 to 87, dribbling -1 to 88, defending -1 to 34 and physicality -2 to 75.
Ronaldo's passing is the only area that increases, +1 to 82.
His base item is priced at around 1.3 million coins on PlayStation and 1.2 million on Xbox.
Cristiano Ronaldo Ones to Watch
The new signing also receives a Ones to Watch card which will improve by one overall point if United win five of their next ten league matches.
His OTW card will also improve every time he picks up an in-form (Team of the Week or Man of the Match) item.
Currently 91 rated, this itemcosts around 3 million coins on both PlayStation and Xbox.
Cristiano Ronaldo September POTM
With three goals in as many games, CR7 won the Premier League September's Player of the Month award - seeing him receive a 92 SBC card.
Pace, dribbling, defending and shooting all improve by one, with passing and physicality rising by two.
You will need around 2.5 million coins to complete the TWENTY-SIX squads required to unlock the Portuguese.
There is one chemistry style that stands out above all others for Ronaldo...
Engine - this will be the number one choice for most players, offering +5 pace, +5 passing and +7 dribbling.
Hunter - if you want CR7 to be clinical in front of goal, this chem style brings in +10 pace and +6 shooting - meaning he will have 99 pace and 99 shooting, what more do you need?
Hawk - a more rounded option, the Hawk offers +5 pace, +6 shooting and +5 physicality, meaning that you can take on defenders of all sizes.
Shadow - Some people like to play Ronaldo in midfield, allowing him to attack from deep - but that does leave him short defensive. The Shadow will increase pace +12 and defending +8.
Ronaldo is really in a world of his own, especially when it comes to players from the Premier League or his native Portugal - but if you can't quite afford him, here's who you should look at.
Romelu Lukaku (OVR 88)
We start with Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku, who is effectively a reduced version of CR7.
The Belgian offers 84 pace and 87 shooting, and can bully defenders with his 83 strength - so with a Hunter chemistry style he can be almost as devastating as Ronaldo.
The Belgian is an absolute bargain at 30,000 coins on PlayStation and 33,000 on Xbox - with his a Ones to Watch item affordable at under 350,000.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (HERO)
Yes, we've gone with Ronaldo's manager at Manchester United - with the Baby Faced Assassin terrorising FUT defences already.
For around 250,000 coins on PlayStation and 300,000 on Xbox you can get the Norweigan's 85 pace, 88 shooting and 84 dribbling.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (OVR 85)
If you want a slightly pacier option, go for Arsenal frontman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Gunner has 89 pace, 85 shooting and 80 dribbling to make up his 85 overall - costing you around 21,000 coins on both consoles.
Cristiano Ronaldo in Career Mode
It will be tough to pick up Ronaldo on FIFA 22, given that he will have 'recently signed' with Manchester United.
That said, if you choose to wait a year, CR7's £39 million value should drop pretty quickly, as he will be over 37 years of age.
Ronaldo's hefty wages will need to be covered though, with the Portuguese star currently on £232,000 a week.
Cristiano Ronaldo's FIFA 21 cards
Ronaldo claimed seven different cards on FIFA 21, and you could expect to see some similar items on FIFA 22.
If you exchanged three squads you could pick up this Cristiano Ronaldo 87 RW SBC - taking us back to the forward's Manchester United days.
With 91 pace and 86 dribbling, this was a useful card for those who unlocked him.
Ronaldo's base card just ticks all the boxes.
The Piemonte man offers pace (89), top finishing (93 shooting), 89 dribbling and is good enough on the ball (81 passing) - with a chemistry style able to take him to lethal levels in front of goal.
This in-form is the third of CR7's TOTW items - which is still fetching close to 1 million coins in Ultimate Team.
WIth 92 pace, 96 shooting, 93 dribbling and 87 passing - it's not hard to see why.
Moving on to Ronaldo's Team of the Year item, which he has earned every single year since the promo came into being on FIFA 12.
The Portuguese picked up 98 shooting, 96 pace, 96 dribbling, 89 passing and 88 physicality.
Towards the end of FUT 21, Ronaldo also claimed a 98 rating for his Team of the Season card - which is very similar to his TOTY item.
The pace may not be as high at 95, but with 99 shooting, 95 dribbling, 90 passing and 90 physicality - this is among the most deadly cards in FIFA 21.
There was still time for a 99-rated Ronaldo card, thanks to the Festival of FUTball Summer Stars.
The Portugal captain earned 99 shooting, 98 dribbling and 96 passing on this item - which tore up the last few months of FUT.
EA saved the best until last however, giving United fans a chance to celebrate the return of the club legend to Old Trafford.
A 99 Premium SBC item became available on 3 September - and requires around 2.7 million coins on both PS4 and Xbox One to unlock the 14 squads required.
