The PSG star has received an upgrade this year, taking him to an incredible 91 OVR!
Mbappe's pace has increased to 97, surely making him the fastest player in FIFA 22.
EA has also rewarded Mbappe's brilliant 2020/21 campaign, in which he scored 42 goals in 47 games for PSG, by giving him a +2 boost to his shooting and passing.
Mbappe will definitely keep his five-star skill moves, so we expect the Frenchman to be perhaps the best striker in the game.
FIFA 22 ratings release dates
FIFAUTeam, on Twitter, has announced that the 'Ratings Collective' will be returning for FIFA 22!
FIFAUTeam has also provided us with the dates of when we can expect the different ratings to be revealed.
Ratings Reveal Dates:
- Top 100/1000 - Thursday, 9 September
- Top Goalkeepers - Thursday, 9 September
- Fastest Players - Tuesday, 14 September
- Strongest Players - Tuesday, 14 September
- Top Passers - Tuesday, 14 September
- Top Free Kick Takers - Tuesday, 14 September
These dates are just predictions from FIFAUTeam and are not yet officially confirmed by EA.
FIFA 22 ratings release time
EA has not yet confirmed when the ratings will be revealed, however, we can have a pretty good guess at what time they will arrive.
You can expect the FIFA 22 ratings to drop at 11am ET / 4pm BST / 5pm CET.
EA will likely announce the ratings reveal via their official EA Sports FIFA Twitter page.
How will the ratings reveal work?
We are not completely sure of how the ratings reveal will work for FIFA 22, but we can use last year's to speculate on this.
FIFA 21's ratings were initially revealed as a 'Top 1000'.
The highest 1000 players in the game were revealed all in one go, with EA then releasing smaller groups, such as 'best skillers' in the following days.
We could see EA use a similar strategy this year, which FIFAUTeam has predicted.
Of course, EA has already unveiled the full FUT Heroes ratings, so Icons and Ones to Watch cards could be revealed very soon!
Our Top 10 predictions
We've put together our predictions for the top ten players in FIFA 22 and their ratings.
There's no doubt that PSG new boy, Lionel Messi, will lead the way again this year.
However, we expect Cristiano Ronaldo to be joined by Robert Lewandowski with a 92 rating.
The only change from the FIFA 21 top 10 sees two Premier League stars swap places, with Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante stepping up to 90 OVR and ousting Sadio Mane from the top ten.
