Addition of Sergio Ramos has bolstered PSG squad ahead of FIFA 22

The glitz, the glamour - but without the silverwear to back it up?

PSG are still chasing a first ever European Cup, and the Parisians couldn't even hold on to the Ligue 1 title last year, losing out to Lille.

With new recruits, the squad on FIFA 22 could be frightening.

Latest - The team to beat?

With a flurry of summer signings - PSG may just be the best team going on FIFA 22.

Gianluigi Donnarumma, Sergio Ramos and Achraf Hakimi have all arrived as PSG targer that elusive first Champions League title.

Expect players to leave the club too - with Mauro Icardi, Keylor Navas, Alphonse Areola, Julian Draxler, Layvin Kurzawa and Rafinha all possible heading for the exit door.

WATCH THIS SPACE - Mbappe has a point to prove after his Euro 2020 penalty miss

Kylian Mbappe enjoyed the most prolific goal-scoring season of his career with 42 goals in 47 games for PSG - but he will be disappointed that did not account for more silverware with just the Coupe de France lifted.

A 92 rating could await Mbappe on FIFA 22, but it remains to be seen how he responds to his crucial penalty miss for France at Euro 2020.

Neymar (OVR 91 → 91)

PEAKED - Given Neymar hit a 92 rating in FIFA 17, it's a shame he didn't go any higher

Neymar is still tearing it up for PSG, but his title as king of Paris has been lost to Kylian Mbappe.

The Brazilian did sign a four-year extension to his contract earlier this season, so he isn't going anywhere soon - but you do wonder what the rest of his career looks like if he stays in the French capital.

Gianluigi Donnarumma (OVR 85 → 87)

ON THE MOVE - Gianluigi Donnarumma joined PSG on a free from AC Milan

Still just 22 - it's clear that PSG saw the opportunity to sign wonderkid goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma on a free just too big to turn down.

The Italian number 1 secured his move to Ligue 1 after being named player of the tournament at Euro 2020, and with 280 professional games behind him (including 30 international caps) he already has plenty of experience behind him.

Sergio Ramos (OVR 89 → 87)

TITAN - Ramos will once again be one of FUT's best cards

Signed, sealed, and delivered. It is confirmed that Sergio Ramos has joined PSG.

One of the best defenders on the planet, Ramos is a fierce competitor and should add the know-how to PSG's already talented squad.

Keylor Navas (OVR 87 → 87)

ON THE WAY OUT? - The impending arrival of Gianluigi Donnarumma could spell the end of Keylor Navas at PSG

Keylor Navas was on course to seeing his overall increase for FIFA 22, but with Gianluigi Donnarumma expected to arrive at PSG, the current number 1 goalkeeper could be on the bench at the start of the season.

A loan move has been mooted, with Manchester United linked with the Costa Rican, who was PSG's best performer in the Champions League last term.

Marquinhos (OVR 85 → 86)

LEADER - Marquinhos has stepped into the void left by Thiago Silva

Marquinhos has been one of PSG's most consistent performers in recent season, even stepping into a holding midfield role from time to time.

Perhaps what he lacks is a reliable defensive partner, with Presnel Kimpembe error-prone - so perhaps a move for Sergio Ramos could be exactly what the club needs.

Marco Verratti (OVR 86 → 86)

MAGIC MARCO - Verratti makes this PSG side tick

He can pass, tackle and dribble - Marco Veratti is the heartbeat to PSG and the Italian national team.

An impressive Euros campaign could see the midfielder reach a higher rating for FIFA 22, with him perhaps another star who is let down by his teammates in Paris.

Angel Di Maria (OVR 87 → 86)

ANGEL DI-LIGHT - Di Maria has been one of PSG's most consistent performers over the last five years

He doesn't get the adoration of Mbappe and Neymar, but Angel Di Maria is a key component of this PSG squad.

The former Real Madrid and Manchester United man may now be 33 and PSG could be lining up a successor - but expect this to be the Argentine's final season at the top.

Achraf Hakimi (OVR 83 → 84)

HOT PROPERTY - Achraf Hakimi looks to have chosen Paris over a move to Chelsea

Likely to be one of the most expensive moves of the summer, Achraf Hakimi is being sold by Inter Milan as they look to balance the books.

The fee is believed to be in the region of €70 million, up from the €40 million Inter paid last summer to sign him from Real Madrid.

Presnel Kimpembe (OVR 81 → 83)

STEPPING UP - Kimpembe is beginning to show consistency for club and country

Now 25, Presnel Kimpembe is now maturing into a strong defender - but there are question marks over whether he can make it at the top level.

That said, he has kept both Dayot Upamecano and Aymeric Laporte (who now plays for Spain) out of the French set-up, and learning under Marquinhos and Raphael Varane for France - is receiving a first class defensive education.

Mauro Icardi (OVR 85 → 83)

GONE FLAT - Icardi has failed to match his first season efforts at PSG

Being a striker in a side with both Neymar and Kylian Mbappe has its challenges, but Mauro Icardi saw the reward in 19/20 with 20 goals in 34 appearances and then securing a €70 million permanent move to the club.

Second season syndrome kicked in, however, and injury difficulties show Icardi net just 13 times - so plenty rest on him next season.
