Liverpool's injury burdened season made for a disappointing overall campaign, which could have a significant impact on the Red's FIFA 22 ratings.
So, check out what we think the world-class group of players will be rated in EA's next title.
Virgil van Dijk (OVR 90 → 90)
How Virgil van Dijk starts next season will very much dictate his rating, as we look to see if he shakes off the ACL injury he suffered last October.
Will his yard of pace disappear? That could be a crucial component of how Liverpool fair next term.
But, we think the world-class defender will retain his 90 OVR in FIFA 22.
Mohamed Salah (OVR 90 → 90)
It was a relatively quiet season for Mohamed Salah - despite scoring 22 goals.
If he's picking up those kind of numbers in a Liverpool side that's not firing on all cylinders, watch out for him when they get back up to full speed.
We belive that EA will keep Mo Salah as a 90 OVR in FIF A22.
Alisson (OVR 90 → 89)
A difficult season for Alisson as he lost the protection of Liverpool's main centre back pairing in Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez.
A crucial headed goal shows Alisson has another string to his bow, but there is an impression his reputation as the Premier League's best is under threat.
Alisson still remains one of the best GK's in the world, so we think he will be rated 89 OVR in FIFA 22.
Sadio Mane (90 → 88)
Liverpool winger Sadio Mane could be one of the top-rated players on FIFA 21 to receive a downgrade of -2 or more.
11 goals is not a bad return for the Senegalese star, but by his own standards is not good enough.
Mane's rating sits at 88 OVR in the latest squad update and could remain there for the start of FIFA 22.
Fabinho (87 → 87)
A difficult season for Fabinho as he had his own injury problems, but perhaps the Brazilian showed his worth when he seamlessly slotted in at centre back.
With a full complement expected at Liverpool next season, Fabinho must now look to form a partnership with Thiago in midfield - which has plenty of potential but hasn't delivered the goods just yet.
So, we think Fabinho will keep his 87 OVR rating heading into the next game.
Andrew Robertson (87 → 87)
Andy Robertson was one Red who carried his Premier League winning form into the 2020/21 season.
The Scotsman picked up seven assists in the league, whilst providing good defensive cover in an unsettled defence.
We believe that Robertson will remain as an 87 OVR in FIFA 22.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (87 → 85)
2020/21 was by no means a disaster for Liverpool or Trent Alexander-Arnold, but he will be hard-pushed to maintain his 87 OVR.
The youngster's form suffered from a constantly changing back four in the Premier League.
We don't think that TAA will retain his crown as the best full-back in the game next season, so will likely be rated 85 OVR.
Roberto Firmino (87 → 85)
We promise we aren't picking on Liverpool!
Roberto Firmino's rating in the latest squad update sits at 85 OVR.
Firmino failed to register double figures for goals this season, so an 85 OVR seems fair for the Brazilian.
Jordan Henderson (OVR 86 → 85)
Jordan Henderson, along with a number of Liverpool players, has had a tough season riddled with injury.
The Reds captain has still shown his class on the pitch, but we think he could be one Englishman that will be downgraded in FIFA 22.
EA will most likely drop Henderson to an 85 OVR in their next title.
Thiago Alcantara (OVR 85 → 85)
Champions League winner Thiago had a fair few critics this season, but his quality is undeniable.
Once Liverpool found some form of defensive stability near the end of the season, the Spaniard seemed to thrive.
So, we believe that Thiago will retain his 85 OVR in FIFA 22.
