Latest - Icon Swaps set 1 coming soon!?
FUTZone on Twitter has revealed some new information about the release date of the first set of Icon Swaps in Ultimate Team.
According to FUTZone, Icon Swaps will arrive 'within the next week or two'.
It's important to note that this is just a leak and is not yet officially confirmed.
How do Icon Swaps work?
Icon Swaps is a way for casual players to get their hands on the very best legends in the game, with the promo running multiple times throughout the FUT calendar.
Icon Swaps allows players to earn tokens through gameplay objectives (Squad Battles, Division Rivals & FUT Friendlies) that can be used to claim icons and pack rewards via SBCs.
The more Icon Swap objectives you complete, the better rewards you can unlock.
EA will offer different versions of Icons (Base/Mid/Prime) and also Icon packs for you to choose from as SBC rewards.
How to prepare for Icon Swaps
Now that we’ve seen what EA released for Icon Swaps in FIFA 21, we can predict how best to prepare for the objectives this year.
First Owned Requirement was brought back in for FUT 21, with Icon Swaps Objectives being tailored towards Friendlies with various squad restrictions, so make sure you:
- Save good players from the Top 5 Leagues (Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A & Ligue 1)
- Save good players from popular Nations (Argentina, Brazil, England, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium)
- Complete Loan SBCs for usable meta cards from Top 5 Nations & Top 5 Leagues
