After a disappointing end to the season, Barcelona are looking to rebuild this summer.
With Messi potentially leaving the club, Barca fans are worried, to say the least!
Check out how new signing Sergio Aguero will be rated in FIFA 22, along with his new teammates below.
Lionel Messi (OVR 93 → OVR 93)
Having dropped from 94 OVR to 93 OVR in FIFA 21, we think Messi will remain the top player on the game as he produced more than one goal involvement per game during the course of the year.
As many football fans would agree, Messi is by far and away the best player on the planet and will likely be rewarded with the honour of remaining as the highest-rated card in the game at 93 OVR.
The Argentine is also set for a position change in FIFA 22.
Marc-Andre ter Stegen (OVR 90→ OVR 90)
There's a chance that German international Marc-Andre ter Stegen could be in for a drop in ratings.
Unable to compete at EURO 2020 due to injury, ter Stegen will not get another chance to impress before the new game arrives.
However, recognised as one of the best 'keepers in the world, we are expecting him to stay at 90 OVR.
Sergio Aguero (OVR 89 → OVR 87)
Sergio Aguero's transfer to Barcelona could see his rating stay high, but we think it will drop to 87 OVR.
With only 12 league appearances and four goals to his name in 2020/21, a drop in ratings looks likely.
Antoine Griezmann (OVR 87 → OVR 87)
After a tough start to his Barcelona career, Griezmann seemed to find his old form again, scoring 13 goals and picking up 8 assists in La Liga.
Despite disappointingly crashing out of Euro 2020 with France, Griezmann's quality is undeniable.
So, we think Antoine Griezmann will keep his 87 OVR in FIFA 22.
Frenkie de Jong (OVR 85 → OVR 87)
24-year-old Frenkie De Jong has established himself as one of the best central midfielders in world football.
De Jong has been brilliant for Barca this season, whilst he also played brilliantly for the Netherlands at Euro 2020.
So, we believe that De Jong will be boosted to 87 OVR on FIFA 22.
Sergio Busquets (OVR 87 → OVR 85)
At 32 years old, Barcelona's Sergio Busquets is entering the latter stages of his career.
The defensive midfielder has played a crucial role in Spain's Euro 2020 success, however, partnering up with Pedri and Koke.
So, we think Busquets will be rated 85 OVR in FIFA 22.
Jordi Alba (OVR 86 → OVR 85)
Another 32-year-old Barcelona veteran is Jordi Alba.
Alba captained Spain to the semi-final at Euro 2020, playing brilliantly on the left flank.
However, the left-back is slowly declining, so we think he'll be rated 85 OVR in the upcoming game.
Clement Lenglet (OVR 85 → OVR 83)
Barcelona's early-season wobble appeared to cost Clement Lenglet as his rating dipped down to 83 OVR in FIFA 21.
The French centre-back is still a regular for Barca though, so he may not have such a large downgrade.
However, we still think Lenglet will be rated 83 OVR in FIFA 22.
Pedri (OVR 72 → OVR 79)
At the start of the 2020/21 season, you probably wouldn't have heard of Pedri, but he's now a regular starter for Barcelona and Spain aged just 18.
The youngster had just one season of professional football under his belt, for Las Palmas in the Segunda Division, before making the £6.5 million move to Barca.
After the Spaniard's brilliant Euro 2020, we think he will be rated 79 OVR in FIFA 22.
Ansu Fati (OVR 76 → OVR 77)
Ansu Fati burst onto the scene with eight goals in his first season in Barcelona colours, but his playing time has been a bit more limited under Ronald Koeman.
The Spanish international has been on the fringes this term, with Koeman often turning to a back five, limiting Fati's opportunities, while he has also suffered from injuries.
So, we think Fati will be boosted to 77 OVR in FIFA 22.
