City defeated Spurs 3-0 in the Premier League, so it looks like Stones is being rewarded for his consistent form rather than a one-off performance.

Still going strong, Ever Banega is still cutting open defences with his killer passes in the Saudi Pro League for Al Shabab.
The Argentine netted a penalty to open the scoring against Al Nassr, before setting up new signing Odion Ighalo to complete the 4-0 win.

Aston Villa were below par in their draw with Brighton, and they have Emiliano Martinez to thank for the point.
The former Arsenal goalkeeper made a total of nine saves, picking up the Man of the Match award for his efforts.
