The Premier League squad is up next and EA has teased two players already.
Latest news - Prepare for a tough Weekend League
With the Premier League TOTS squad being released this week, the competition in Weekend League is going to be fierce.
We are expecting even more competition than usual with the lure of Premier League TOTS cards at the end.
If you are brave enough to enter, get ready for the next level of competition.
How to get TOTS red player picks
EA has confirmed that Weekend League rewards will now include Team of the Season red player picks.
You can earn TOTS cards for free simply by playing Weekend League!
If you reach Gold 2 (17 wins) you will guarantee yourself at least one main league (which is currently the Community TOTS) red player pick.
So, the more wins you achieve, the better chance you will have of receiving a top tier TOTS card.
It must be noted that all TOTS player picks earned from the Weekend League will be untradeable.
If you manage to fend off the pros and reach the Top 100, you will receive a tradeable pack with 11 guaranteed TOTS cards.
Loading screen reveals three TOTS cards
EA has revealed selected stats for three TOTS cards via the FUT loading screen.
Although we haven't been given too much information, we can have a good guess at who the players might be.
The French player on the left of the screen is likely to be Tanguy Ndombele or Nordi Mukiele.
With pace in the middle card, this could be anyone from Federico Chiesa to Adam Armstrong.
The right-back on the right-hand side of the screen is likely Aaron Wan-Bissaka, as you can bet your bottom dollar that Manchester United fans have voted in the Englishman via the Community vote.
TOTS Release Date
The Team of the Season promo will commence on Friday, 23 April.
This will be at 1pm ET / 6pm BST like all FUT promos.
The card design for TOTS has also been revealed ahead of the event as excitement is building.
Team of the Season
TOTS will bring together the best performing players from the 2020/21 season and release a variety of different squads.
If EA follows what they have done previously, we will see loads of top-rated special cards become available through packs, SBCs and Objectives.
The Premier League squad is always highly anticipated as the most popular league in the game, but each squad contains excellent players.
We have seen some great changes to promos this year too, so we are excited to see what EA has in store.
As far as the Premier League goes, Harry Kane, Bruno Fernandes, and Mohamed Salah are guaranteed to be included.
Virgil van Dijk has missed the majority of the season, so without him, there is a void in defence that will likely be filled by Manchester City’s Ruben Dias.
In Serie A we expect Romelu Lukaku and Cristiano Ronaldo to be involved, and their respective TOTS cards will be epic.
Lionel Messi will surely lead the La Liga side, with former teammate Luis Suarez also set to feature after an excellent first season for Atletico Madrid.
You could make a case for all the Bayern Munich team to be included in the Bundesliga, and of course Borussia Dortmund’s goalscoring sensation Erling Haaland.
As Ligue 1’s top scorer, Kylian Mbappe will definitely lead the French league’s squad and his card will be almost unstoppable.
