Loan signings are a quick fix in Career Mode, so you want someone who will come in and perform instantly.
The players available for loan are fringe players so are unlikely to have an impact at a bigger club.
Check out the best Loan Signings on FIFA 21 below.
Carlos Fernandez (OVR 76 – POT 83)
Position(s): ST, CAM
Value: £13.5 million (£22.8 million release clause)
The best player available for loan at the beginning of Career Mode, Sevilla’s Carlos Fernandez can be an astute signing.
Fernandes may not the quickest forward around, but he can get you goals with his 81 Finishing.
Dani Martin (OVR 70 – POT 80)
Value: £2.8 million (£4.8 million release clause)
A good young goalkeeper that will improve throughout the season, Dani Martin can be an excellent acquisition for a second-tier club striving for promotion.
His goalkeeping stats are well-balanced, with 73 GK Reflexes his standout attribute.
Niklas Lomb (OVR 68 – POT 72)
Value: £1.2 million (£1.4 million release clause)
If you don’t want to shell out a transfer fee for a backup goalkeeper, Niklas Lomb could be your man.
The Bayer Leverkusen stopper won’t get much better, but he can plug a gap in your squad no problem.
Harvey Elliott (OVR 65 – POT 85)
Value: £1.7 million (£2.8 million release clause)
Liverpool starlet Harvey Elliott is currently out on loan at Blackburn, so you won’t be able to snap him up if you are playing with updated squads.
Elliott’s 83 Agility and 72 Dribbling will improve greatly during the first season and he can be a handful for opposition fullbacks.
Chrislain Matsima (OVR 65 – POT 80)
Value: £1.4 million (£3.6 million release clause)
Monaco’s teenage giant Chrislain Matsima can certainly play a part for second division clubs across Europe.
Standing at 6’3”, Matsima will be able to handle himself physically with 79 Strength.
Djavan Anderson (OVR 65 – POT 69)
Value: £833k (£998k release clause)
If your side needs an injection of pace, Lazio right back Djavan Anderson could be the man for you.
A cheap option, Anderson’s 82 Sprint Speed can come in handy down the right-hand side.
Borja Garces (OVR 64 – POT 78)
Value: £1.3 million (£3.4 million release clause)
Whilst not having any standout attributes, Borja Garces will improve throughout the season to edge closer to his 78 potential.
Garces’ 67 Finishing and 72 Shot Power do stand him in good stead to notch a goal or two.
Koba Koindredi (OVR 63 – POT 80)
Value: £1.1 million (£1.8 million release clause)
An exciting talent, Koba Koindredi will likely begin as a squad player but will improve quickly.
Don’t be afraid to pull the trigger with Koindredi as the Frenchman possesses 82 Long Shots!
Ivan Ilic (OVR 63 – POT 78)
Value: £990k (£2.4 million release clause)
Mobile and physically strong, Serbian teenager Ivan Ilic can provide midfield cover to many squads.
Weaker defensively, Ilic is more suited to a playmaker role to utilize his 67 Long Passing.
Joao Virgini (OVR 63 – POT 76)
Value: £900k (£1.3 million release clause)
A commanding presence in goal, Joao Virginia can be a useful signing for some of the smaller clubs around Europe.
Whether as a starting player or backup, Virginia is a useful option for those on a limited budget.
