With FIFA 20 around the corner, RealSport have compiled a list of the biggest rating improvements to be on the latest instalment of FIFA which will be released on September 27th.
The new season of football is well under way, the developers at EA granted some players huge ratings boosts after playing well for their teams.
Will they be able to maintain the standards of last season?
The following players have received the biggest overall boosts on FIFA 20.
Teruhito Nakagawa (OVR 51 – 68)
Club: Yokohama F. Marinos
After recording a substantial nine goals and eight assists for Yokohama F. Marinos, Teruhito Nakagawa was given a large boost to reflect his contribution to his team.
With an upgrade of 17 ratings, Nakagawa is the biggest upgrade on FIFA 20. His 19 pace boost makes his card a lot more usable than his FIFA 19 card.
Connor McLennan (OVR 51 – 67)
Position: RM, LM
Breaking into the first team for any player is a big achievement and EA picked up on this with Connor McLennan. Playing 21 games and scoring three goals and seven assists was deserving of a 16 overall boost heading into FIFA 20.
The young Scotsmen has shown promise and helped do his part in getting Aberdeen into the top four of the Scottish Premier League.
William Saliba (OVR 56 – 71)
Club: St Etienne (on loan from Arsenal)
After joining the Gunners in the summer for £35 million and signing a 5-year-deal, William Saliba has become a hot young prospect in football. The young Frenchman played 16 games and averaged 2 tackles per game and five clean sheets from seven starts.
With Arsenal struggling at the back so early in the season, a call back to the North London giants to save them from another poor defensive season.
Vlad Dragomir (OVR 54 – 69)
Position: CM, CAM
The young Romanian reached the first team of Perugia, 32 games played proves he is capable of performing for the Italian side.
A 15 rating upgrade completely transforms the youngsters FIFA 20 card. 75 pace and 72 dribbling makes him more competent than his previous 67 pace and 56 dribbling.
Ozan Kabak (OVR 60 – 74)
In January, Kabak was valued at £5.8 million and is now valued at £13.5 million. After playing 15 games and scoring three goals, Kabak is now a young prospect on the rise, resulting in a 14 overall rating increase.
Schalke, who finished 6th last season in the Bundesliga, will now push for a higher position finish this season and hopefully the Young man can help achieve this.
Daniel James (OVR 59 – 72)
Position: LM, LW, RM
Club: Manchester United
£15 million winger Dan James has lit up the Theatre of Dreams recently by bagging four goals in the Premier League already. Last season James recorded four goals and seven assists in 33 games for Swansea.
He has fitted in seamlessly into the Premier League, and has been one of Manchester United since the summer move. Hopefully, the Welshman can push the Red Devils back into Champions League contention.

Max Aarons (OVR 58 – 72)
Club: Max Aarons
Newly promoted Canary Max Aarons, contributed to Norwich City’s Championship title win last season. Not only is the young man still a teenager, he played 41 games last season and secured his position as their starting right-back.
His 14 overall ratings boost is definitely justifiable as he is now a Premier League starting defender.
