Winter Refresh cards are on their way in FUT 21

It's that time of year again for EA to update player ratings in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team, as part of the Winter Refresh promo.

What are the Winter Refresh cards?

The Winter Refresh promo will see the players who have outperformed their basic OVR in FUT 21 receive a special Winter Refresh card.

Players who receive a Winter Refresh card will have their OVR boosted by around 5 OVR ratings, judging off of FIFA 20's promo.

Last year we saw some great cards in the XI, including Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Bruno Fernandes and Christian Eriksen.

This year we could see the Premier League's Portuguese stars headline the promo, with the likes of Bruno Fernandes, Ruben Dias and Joao Cancelo all having excellent starts to the 2020/21 campaign.

Who are the Winter Refresh cards?

FIFA 21's Winter Refresh is yet to arrive.

It will be released at 1pm ET / 6pm GMT on Friday, 19 February.

We do have an idea as to who could arrive, however, with Bruno Fernandes's remarkable season for Manchester United set to take his overall to a 90 rating.

Should Bruno Fernandes receive a +3 Winter Upgrade, all of his special cards will be boosted by the same number of points, taking his second POTM card to 95 OVR.
