FIFA 21: Is a fully licensed Brazil national team on its way back to EA?

Brazil have long been licensed on PES, but could that be about to change ahead of FIFA 21?

Brazil will still be fully licensed on PES 2021, however there appears to be something missing from the full list of stadiums.

The famous Maracana has been left off Konami’s complete license list for the PES 2021 Season Update.

Could this mean that EA has secured the rights to the Brazilian national team ahead of FIFA 21?

Only Neymar Jr featured in the Brazilian squad on FIFA 20, with the rest of the squad filled with generic players.


Licensing has become a tug of war between EA and Konami, with Konami ripping Juventus from EA’s grasp last season.

Roma have followed suit this season, although neither Milan club will feature on PES 2021 as EA hit back.

The Brazilian national team has been a staple for Konami for a number of seasons now, so landing the national team license could be a big hit for EA!


Having the rights to the Brazilian national team would be great news for FIFA 21 offline game modes if it means waving goodbye to the poorly named generic players.
