Gamescom is Microsoft's annual video game expo, usually held every year in Cologne Germany.
With many console fans tuning in, here's what to expect from the Xbox Gamescom 2021 show.
Where to Watch
For their 2021 celebration, Gamescom will be taking place online. There will be a livestream from August 24-25.
The Gamescom 2021 Xbox stream can be viewed on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook Gaming, and Twitter from on August 24th at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT/7 p.m.
The Xbox team emphasized that the 2021 edition will be focused on game updates coming this year. Hang onto your seats, as e may see new footage for Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5. There will be information on additions for the Game Pass as well.
What's better is, to make sure all players around the globe can enjoy the stream, they plan to offer support for 30 languages along English Audio descriptions.

So far Gamescom has confirmed it will have 19 game studios and publishers in attendance for its virtual gaming conference. This includes some Indie studios like Akupara Games, Draw Distance, and Numskull Games, to name a few.

Xbox Gamescom Sale
Xbox also announced that it will have a FanFest during Gamescom. Xbox FanFest is a combination of exclusive digital events, content, sweepstakes, merch, and more.
By registering for Xbox FanFest, "you can unlock exclusives across Xbox hosted events, promotions, and curated online experiences hosted just for you".
The company will also be running a sale through Gamescom (running from August 25-27th), offering up to 75% off on some games.
