Xbox Gamescom 2021 Predictions - Perfect Dark & Avowed tipped to appear

Gamescom is set to go live this week and that should come with tonnes of new announcements, follow-ups on old games and something a little different.

Luckily, just before the opening night, Xbox has its own show that should come with some unique new trailers and information. Here's when you can watch it and what we think we may see

When is it?

The Xbox Gamescom 2021 show takes place on 24 August - today!

As you can see from the tweet below, it starts at 1 pm ET / 6pm BST.

This leaves just a few hours until you can get in there to view it yourself.

Here's how to watch the Opening Night Live for tomorrow night.

Predictions

Predictions are rather hard to make so we'll go over each section separately to give a little more information.

Perfect Dark

Announced last year and fronted by The Initiative, Perfect Dark is due an update.

As E3 was fairly packed and we didn't see word of it there, hopefully, we will get a follow-up trailer or news about its release date today.

Avowed

We haven't seen an update on Obsidian's first-person RPG, Avowed, since E3 2020.

Tentatively set for release in 2022, we should have seen more by now. Hopefully, Gamescom will answer our prayers!

Halo Infinite

Halo Infinite is in a very odd space right now.

Its multiplayer is set to launch in 2021 yet the paid singleplayer campaign is set to drop at a later point.

We expect Xbox to clear up some of the information on Halo Infinite and tell us what to expect later this year.

Fable 4

Fable 4 is another game we've heard very little about over the last year.

Playground Games seem to have a pretty big focus on the next Forza Horizon game but their schedule is clear to focus on Fable afterwards.

This means hype and trailers should start ramping up soon for its eventual release. We may not see Fable this time around but the community wants to see something.

Hellblade 2: Senua's Sacrifice

Ninja Theory hasn't released anything since the rather mediocre launch of Bleeding Edge. Although they are working on two unnamed projects, Hellblade 2 is their next big one.

For this reason, we're expecting to see a nice new trailer or tease for the next game.

Other Games

Starfield is just over a year away so we should see something here.

As well as this, we're expecting to see something from A Plague Tale: Requiem, S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 and more.
