Once again, Xbox players are are being spoiled withXbox Game Pass in April 2021.
A whole host of new and old games are joining the service throughout the month, and we've got a breakdown of what you'll be able to pick up
Latest - Fable Series Join the List
On April 20, Microsoft has confirmed some more games are coming to Xbox Game Pass before the end of April.
Those game are:
- Phogs! (PC) – April 22
- Second Extinction (Game Preview) (Cloud, Console, and PC) – April 28
- Destroy All Humans! (Cloud, Console, and PC) – April 29
- Fable III (Cloud) – April 30
- Fable Anniversary (Cloud) – April 30
These game are on top of MLB The Show 21, which is now available via the subscription service.

Edge of Eternity Day One Release
This JRPG is inspired by the classics and has been a popular feature on PC despite it being stuck in Early Access.
Thankfully, we now have a release date and a surprise announcement that the title is going to be added to Xbox's Game Pass Subscription on Day One. You can check out the Release Date Announcement Trailer below and check out the classic turn-based combat system being brought back by
Edge of Eternity is due to launch on June 8th, so there's plenty of time to get your fill of other games before this one drops. Especially when you consider the fact that Cloud Gaming with Xbox Game Pass is currently being beta tested.
GTA V Coming to Game Pass
Today, April 6, Microsoft has revealed that GTA V will be coming to Game Pass in April.
GTA V will join the service on April 8, alongside a few other titles. Below is the list of newly revealed games.
- April 8: GTA V, Zombie Army 4: Dead War, Disneyland Adventures - Rush, and A Disney/Pixar Adventure
- April 12: NHL 21
- April 15: Rain on Your Parade, Pathway
- April 20: MLB The Show 21
We already knew that NHL 21 was coming to the service as part of EA Play, and MLB The Show 21 launching on the service was revealed this past weekend, but GTA V is an exciting one.
16 Backwards Compatible Games Join Game Pass for Cloud
Today, March 31, Xbox announced that they were adding 16 older titles to the list of backwards compatible games playable with Game Pass and Cloud.
That means that you can play the following titles via your mobile device, provided you're an Xbox Game Pass member and signed up to the Cloud beta.
This is the first time that backwards compatible games have been playable via the Cloud, so we'll likely see more titles added going forward.

- Banjo-Tooie
- Double Dragon Neon
- Fable II
- Fallout: New Vegas
- Gears of War 2
- Gears of War 3
- Gears of War: Judgment
- Jetpac Refuelled (touch controls enabled)
- Kameo

- The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
- Viva Piñata (touch controls enabled)

Game Pass Games Coming April 2021

Outriders
Outriders is leading the charge with a surprise launch on Xbox's Game Pass service. This means, from April 1st, you'll be able to play Outriders at no additional cost with a valid Game Pass subscription.
NHL 21
Thanks to EA Play's partnership with Xbox Game Pass, the next NHL game is going to be added to the service. We're not sure of the specific date yet but we know it's on the way following Madden NFL 21's addition last month.

Star Wars Squadrons
The latest Star Wars game is now on Xbox Game Pass thanks to their collaboration with EA Play. It's a triumphant return to the "starfighter" games and well worth checking out for its' fantastic story and intense gameplay.
