World of Warcraft's next expansion, Dragonflight, already has tons of content confirmed and lots more being added to the Alpha constantly.
This means that players of the popular MMORPG are going to have their hands full once this dragon-themed expansion goes live.
However, for now, an official release date for Dragonflight hasn't been confirmed.
With that in mind, here's what we know so far about its release date, including a tentative launch schedule, and more.
WoW Dragonflight Release Date
Dragonflight was announced in April of 2022 with its release window later confirmed to be for the same year via the Battle.net shop page. But now, thanks to leaks that have been circulating around Reddit and other social media, we may have a more accurate date.
According to a post on the official WoW subreddit, a leak suggests that the new expansion is looking at a November 28, 2022 release with the pre patch going live nearly a month earlier on October 25.
As always with leaks it's worth taking the information with a grain of salt, however, this leak, in particular, has a bit more credence as alongside the Dragonflight and pre patch release dates, it suggested that the WotLK Classic pre patch will go live on August 30 which has been confirmed by Blizzard themselves.

Dragonflight Launch Schedule
So far, the only thing that's been confirmed is the game's alpha which kicked off on July 14, this means that the beta, the pre patch, and an official release date have yet to be confirmed.
But going by past expansion's beta releases, we expect the beta to go live around September. Add the tentative dates from the previous leaks, and here's how Dragonflight's launch schedule looks so far.
October 25, 2022
- Dragonflight pre patch goes live based on the leak.
November 28, 2022
- Dragonflight official launches based on the leak.
- This includes all of the initial new content for the expansion.
December 13, 2022
- Vault of the Incarnates Normal and Heroic goes live.
December 20, 2022
- Vault of the Incarnates Mythic goes live.
It's worth noting that based on the Shadowlands' Sepulcher of the First Ones, there's a chance that Vault of the Incarnates undergoes a staggered release. This means that the later bosses of the raid would release alongside its Mythic version.
