Blizzard Entertainment has revealed the official release date of World of Warcraft: Dragonflight's first content update—patch 10.0.5.
Set to be the first introduction of new content in the game's latest expansion, the update will not be as big as the upcoming 10.1 and 10.2 patches in the future that were revealed by the 2023 content roadmap late last year. Instead, it will come with a smaller batch of updates, introducing new features, performing class balancing, and more.

WoW Dragonflight 10.0.5 patch release date REVEALED
Nearly two months after World of Warcraft: Dragonflight's official launch, the game's first update, the 10.0.5 patch, is set to release on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.
With it, will come tons of new content, ushering in a variety of changes for World of Warcraft players to enjoy.
Patch 10.0.5 will introduce Trading Posts, Primalist Tomorrow (or The Storm’s Fury event), and allow players to transmog white and gray items. Additionally, there will be tons of class tuning and changes players can expect, which is currently still undergoing construction as the developers keep working on the numbers.
The Trading Posts feature will become available with new items and activities being introduced nearly a week after 10.0.5's release on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. This means that players will only haved to wait a short amount of time before they can begin collecting all sorts of mounts, toys, transmog, and more.
