We hope you've sharpened your Silver, Witcher... There are monsters out there and you're the only one who can deal with them. CDPR are releasing a new Mobile AR title set in The Witcher universe and it looks like it could quickly become the best Mobile AR game out there. Here's everything you need to know about The Witcher: Monster Slayer ahead of release.

Become The Witcher

" Foul creatures roam the vast lands of the Continent — and it falls to those known as witchers to hunt them down..."

The Witcher: Monster Slayer is all about slaying monsters and becoming a Witcher. It's set long before the time of Geralt of Rivia and is almost definitely the closest you're going to be able to get to becoming a Witcher yourself.

" See the world around you transformed into the dark fantasy realm of The Witcher, and explore once-familiar locations now infested with dangerous beasts as you start on the path as a professional monster slayer."

We don't have a release date for The Witcher: Monster Slayer just yet, but we're just days away from a worldwide premiere from CDPR. We should find out more about The Witcher: Monster Slayer on July 21st, but you can check out a sneak peek of what's to come from the Gameplay Trailer below:

Slay Beasts Instead Of Catching Pokemon

When you think of a Mobile AR game, you think of Pokemon GO. Niantic's dominance in the field is clear. However, when we reach release day for The Witcher: Monster Slayer... You'll find yourself a new game to play on the commute to work.

Instead of catching Pokemon, The Witcher: Monster Slayer tasks you with taking them down as one of the world's greatest monster hunters.

" Experience story-driven quests that propel you through epic adventures inspired by the Witcher series, taking you deep into the heart of what it means to be an elite monster slayer."

A lot of the gameplay will feel familiar and we can imagine that this Mobile AR title will offer a lot of the same features as Pokemon GO or Wizards Unite, but that doesn't mean you should count it out. If you're a fan of The Witcher series, its focus on the narrative side of these gameplay experiences might be enough to keep you hooked after a few walks about town.

Pre-Register On The Google Play Store Now

We still don't know when to expect it, but we should hear about a release date for The Witcher: Monster Slayer sooner rather than later. In the meantime, though, you can actually Pre-Register on the Google Play Store if you're planning on playing The Witcher: Monster Slayer on an Android Device.

CDPR has announced that The Witcher: Monster Slayer will also be launching on iOS Devices. However, we don't know if this will be a simultaneous launch with the Android version of the title. For now, all we have is this Announcement Trailer and the wait for July 21st...
