Tony Hawk's Pro Skater was one of the biggest games on the original PlayStation.
With a huge fanbase, there was a massive rise in the number of skateboarding fans because of the Pro Skater series.
Hopefully, with this remaster, we can see another big jump in the amount of skating fans.
With the release of the next-gen consoles coming up later this year, fans are wondering if THPS Remaster will release on these consoles.
Consoles
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater Remastered is set to release on the PS4, Xbox One and PC. This will be available on each of the consoles dedicated stores and the Epic Games store for PC.
CHILDHOOD RETURNS - A lot of the Pro Skater fan base are now adults, and will likely attract an older audience because of this.
There has been no information for a Mobile and Switch release, so this seems very unlikely.
However, we may see Activision look into publishing a version of the game on these systems at a later date.

Unfortunately, there is likely to be no official release on the next-gen consoles as they release slightly after THPS Remastered.
Benefits of Next-Gen
The Next-gen consoles are releasing later this year (Xbox Series X and PS5)!
SUNSET PARADISE - Explore multiple locations at your own speed including Downtown, School and more from the original
This will deliver a more seamless experience for games due to the substantially improved software and hardware.
This will improve the experience due to the improved immersion and controllers, like the DualShock 5 releasing with the PlayStation.

Vicarious Visions have decided to release THPS remastered on current-gen consoles meaning we won't be getting any of the amazing bonuses that come with the specs of the Xbox Series X and PS5.
Release Date
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater Remastered releases on 4 September 2020.
GRAPHICS FROM THE FUTURE - Luckily, we'll be getting a complete overhaul of the graphics in the remaster of THPS!
The Next-gen consoles are expected to release a few weeks after this, so the game will only release on current-gen until we hear anything else.
Hopefully, Microsoft and Sony will implement immediate backwards compatibility at the release of the next-gen consoles so that it's still possible to access the game.
Unfortunately, playing THPS remastered on next-gen consoles likely won't change your game too much other than load times.
