Marvel's Spider-Man 2 promises to be one of the most exciting releases of 2023, with Insomniac Games returning for another hit with the web-slinger.
With some minor details emerging, attention has started to turn to the cast and characters that will feature in Spider-Man 2.
Check below for everything you need to know about whether you can expect to see Gwen Stacey in Spider-Man 2.
Will Marvel's Spider-Man 2 feature Gwen Stacey?
As of yet, Gwen Stacey has not been confirmed for Spider-Man 2.
The long-term love interest of Peter Parker in the comics has been catapulted to stardom in recent years, with Spider-Gwen's appearance in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse igniting further interest in the character.
As for her role in Insomniac Games' Spider-Man 2, we are so far unsure.
Gwen could appear as a love rival to MJ but that could feel like a re-treading of the MJ-Black Cat sub-plot we got in Spider-Man (2018).
Gwen could also appear as a love interest to Miles in the game, or maybe even another Spider-person to add to the mix.
However, it's most likely that if Gwen Stacey appears in Marvel's Spider-Man 2, she could be closely associated with Eddie Brock, a character we're expecting to see given the close connections to Venom.
We will update this page as soon as we know either way regarding the arrival of Gwen Stacey in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 - if she is indeed due to appear at all.
Confirmed Characters
We're not here to provide any spoilers for either Spier-Man (2018) or Spider-Man: Miles Morales, but we are expecting all of the main cast to return for this game.
Peter Parker will likely once again take the lead as the protagonist, building upon the relationships established in the first game.
A more confident Miles will also appear and will likely be playable, giving you the chance to experience the difference in powers of both Spider-Men.
A confirmed villain for the story is Venom, with the symbiotic beast showcased in the initial teaser trailer.
Some fans have also speculated that Kraven the Hunter, a popular Spider-Man villain from the comics will also showcase, with his voice also heard in the initial teaser trailer.
