As you are probably already aware, EA Sports FC is taking over from the FIFA franchise this year and we're here to provide as much information as we can about the new football sim.
Splitting away from FIFA, EA Sports FC will be a brand new game that will feature all the classic game modes as well as some fresh innovations.
The current EA license portfolio is expected to be built upon for the launch of the new game and fans want to know which clubs and players will be licensed in FC 24.
France and Real Madrid legend Karim Benzema has announced that he will leave the Bernabeu after 14 years with Los Blancos, with a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia on the cards.
So, will the footballing great actually be in EA Sports FC following his move to the Saudi Pro League? Find out below.
Big Money Moves
According to various reports, Karim Benzema has reached an agreement with reigning Saudi Pro League champions Al-Ittihad.
The 35-year-old is set to sign a two-year deal with the Saudi Pro League side, managed by former Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo.
The Frenchman's second-half penalty against Athletic Bilbao in Madrid's final league match of the season takes his 2022/23 tally to 31 goals and six assists in 43 games in all competitions.
Speaking after that match Ancelotti, who had previously suggested the club legend "should retire at Real Madrid", said:
"Yes, it was a surprise, it was a massive surprise for everyone but we had to understand that he thought about it twice and this is part of a process that started at this club some years ago, a transition that will continue next season. So we have enough time to think twice about what we need to do (to replace Benzema) and the squad will be very competitive next season, I can assure you of that."
Will Karim Benzema be in EA Sports FC?
Whether Karim Benzema features in EA Sports FC depends on what rights EA secures for the new game.
whether EA retains the rights to the Saudi Pro League division.
In the current game, FIFA 23, all 16 Saudi Pro League teams feature along with player names, club kits, badges and stadia.
At this moment, EA has not confirmed whether the Saudi Pro League will feature in EA Sports FC.
However, we fully expect EA to retain the entire rights to the Saudi Pro League and Benzema's supposed new club Al-Ittihad.
So, although it is not yet officially confirmed, Karim Benzema will most likely be in EA Sports FC alongside former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays for Al Nassr.
