Football Manager 2023 Announces New Licenses
In the recent release date announcement, eagle-eyed viewers quickly caught wind of the Champions League logo loitering in the background.
Sports Interactive has now confirmed that the Champions League, Europa League and Europe Conference League will all be fully licensed in Football Manager 2023.
The confirmation reads:
FM23 thrusts fans closer to every aspect of the beautiful game, from the supporters filling the stands to scouts, players, opposition managers and newly-licensed competitions like the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League
With Football Manager 2023 now delving into new realms, including these major European competitions could be a game changer.
The Champions League license had only otherwise been available in the FIFA series.
Release Date CONFIRMED
Football Manager 2023 has a confirmed release date, with this year's game set to release on more platforms than ever.
FM23 will release on PC, Mac, iPad, Xbox, Switch and PS5, with the latter console appearing in the FM lineup for the first time ever.
