EA's next release is coming over the horizon!
Piemonte Calcio will be a familiar name if you've played FIFA over the last couple of years!
EA's answer to Juventus has been in the game for the last two years, but could we see the Old Lady return for FIFA 22?
Latest - Will FIFA 22 be Cross-Platform?
Despite a Next Gen launch for the current FIFA title - FIFA 21 - we've yet to see EA incorporate cross-platform gaming into their hit football sim.
They shut down rumours of cross-play in FIFA 21 fairly swiftly, addressing the question over on social media with the following comment:
"You won't be able to play across console generations or cross-play in FIFA 21"
But how about in FIFA 22? A year down the line from the release of the Next Gen consoles, will now finally be the time to give cross-play the green light?

The reason that 'Juventus' hasn't featured in FIFA for the last two years is due to an exclusive deal that the Italian giants signed with Konami back in 2019.
The deal meant that Juventus were exclusively tied down to Konami and their PES franchise of games, which meant that whilst Juventus' players could feature in FIFA, EA were prohibited from using any part of the Juventus brand in their titles.
And thus Piemonte Calcio was born!
Will Juventus feature in FIFA 22?
Unfortunately, if you're hoping to see the famous black and white stripes back in FIFA 22, you better hope that Notts County get promoted!
The three-year deal that Juventus signed with Konami runs until September 2022, which means that there will be no Juventus in the next edition of the EA Sports title.
They will still feature - likely as their Piemonte Calcio alter ego - so there's no need to worry about a CR7-less FIFA title next year.
Unless another deal is struck in the meantime, Juventus will be back available in time for FIFA 23 but, in the world of exclusive deals, that could still be subject to change.
