Where is the Valor Upgrade in WoW Dragonflight
Valor Points is a currency that was re-introduced in the Shadowlands expansion to help players gear up without having to partake solely in raiding. It's continuing in Dragonflight and still works in a similar way.
After you complete a Mythic+ dungeon, you will earn 135 Valor Points. Additionally, you will also receive 65 additional Valor Points if anyone in the ground gained Mythic+ rating from that dungeon run.
When it comes to upgrading a piece of gear with Valor Points, players can visit Corxian in the Gladiator's Refuge (the PvP area) in the main city of Valdrakken.
Each piece of Mythic+ dungeon gear ranging from item level 376 to 415 that is obtained via Mythic+ or the Great Vault can be upgraded on a rank basis. Starting from rank 1 all the way to rank 13, players can spend an amount of Valor Points to better their gear. Upgrading a piece of gear will increase the item level by one rank.
To upgrade gear that is rank 7, item level 395, and over, players will need a certain Mythic+ rating. Below is the rank and the rating amount:
Rank | Item Level | Rating Requirement |
---|---|---|
7 | 395 | 600 |
8 | 398 | 1000 |
9 | 402 | 1000 |
10 | 405 | 1400 |
11 | 408 | 1700 |
12 | 411 | 2000 |
13 | 415 | 2400 |
