From the game's first new class, the Death Knight, and the first new profession, Inscription to all of the new content such as the Northrend continent, its zones, and more. World of Warcraft: Classic players have had plenty of content to do with the release of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion.
It's now time to add more to it with the WotLK Classic Phase 2, which will introduce one of the game's most iconic raids, Ulduar.
So that begs the question... When does Ulduar release in WoW WotLK Classic? Here's what we know.

UPDATED - Blizzard announced Ulduar's release date
The developers over at Blizzard Entertainment have announced the official release date of WoW Classic WotLK Phase 2 and subsequently, Ulduar.

When does Ulduar release in WoW WotLK Classic?
After sitting two months in the Public Test Realm (PTR) as a part of WoW Classic WotLK Phase 2, Ulduar is set to go live on Thursday, January 19, 2023, just two days after the new phase's launch.
Once Ulduar is live, players will get to encounter 14 bosses.
Here are all of the Ulduar bosses in WoW Classic WotLK:
- Flame Leviathon
- Ignis the Furnace Master
- Razorscale
- XT-002 Deconstructor
- Assembly of Iron
- Kologarn
- Auriaya
- Freya
- Hodir
- Mimiron
- Thorim
- General Vezax
- Yogg-Saron
- Algalon the Observer
Ten of these 14 bosses will be doable in hard mode, These are: Flame Leviathan, XT-002 Deconstructor, Assembly of Iron, Freya, Hodir, Thorim, Mimiron, General Vezax, Yogg-Saron, and Algalon the Observer. Algalon is WoW's first hard mode only encounter.
