Initially released on December 7, 2023, Overwatch 2's second season brought players tons of new content. From the brand-new tank hero, Ramattra, and the Battle for Olympus LTM to all of the cosmetics and in-game goodies, players had plenty to play with.
Exactly two months later, it's time to usher in the following content phase for Overwatch 2, in what will be Season 3. This season, like the one before it, will give players more content to enjoy, a brand-new map, the game's next Mythic skin, a new Battle Pass, the return of the Credits System, and much more.

What time does Overwatch 2 Season 2 end?
It's expected that Overwatch 2 Season 2 will end at 1:59 p.m. EST on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, right before Season 3 launches the following minute.
Here are the release times for Overwatch 2 Season 3 for other regions across the world:
- 11 am PST, Tuesday, February 7 (US West)
- 7 pm BST, Tuesday, February 7 (United Kingdom
- 8 pm CEST, Tuesday, February 7 (Germany)
- 3 am KST, Wednesday, February 8 (Korea)
- 4 am AEST, Wednesday, February 8 (Australia)
Once Overwatch 2 Season 2 ends, Season 3 will immediately take over. This means that players can begin going through their new Battle Pass and work towards the brand-new Amaterasu Kiriko Mythic Skin.
It's worth noting that there may be a bit of a server maintenance between the end of Season 2 and the release of Season 3 while the developers at Blizzard push the new season live. PC players can already pre-download the Season 3 update prior to Season 2's end.
