Washington (32-24) will head into the All-Star break atop the Southeast Division regardless of the outcome of this contest but would like to avoid a third loss in four games. The Wizards improved to 7-2 without starting point guard John Wall by posting a 101-90 victory at Chicago on Saturday night.

Wall's replacement, Tomas Satoransky, scored a career-high 25 points as he made five of six shots from 3-point range and ten of 12 overall. Mike Scott and Otto Porter chipped in 14 points each for Washington, who improved to 4-0 without Wall during this stretch when they record 30 or more assists.

The Knicks (23-35) are back home after being swept on their three-game road swing and have lost a season-high seven straight overall following a 108-92 defeat at Philadelphia on Monday night. Michael Beasley scored 22 points and Enes Kanter added 17 and 13 rebounds as New York fell to 0-3 since losing All-Star forward Kristaps Porzingis to a season-ending torn ACL injury.

New York have averaged just 91.6 points during their losing streak, well off their season mark of 103.5 per game, and are shooting just 23.0 percent (40 for 174) from 3-point range in that stretch. The Knicks are mired in their worst skid since dropping nine straight from March 19 to April 3, 2015.
