Undisputed Boxing - Latest update adds THREE NEW fighters to the roster

Steel City Interactive has dropped yet another Undisputed content update, with the latest being number 28.

This time, new boxers have been added to the roster and new venues have also hit the game, alongside the usual gameplay changes and bug fixes.

So, we're here to run you through all the latest changes from the Content Update #28 Patch Notes in Undisputed.

Three new boxers

The biggest news is that three new boxers have been added to the Undisputed roster.

Lee McGregor is one of those fighters. The Scottish boxer has a pro record of 11 wins, 1 draw, and 0 losses, with 9 of his wins coming by way of knockout.

At regional level, McGregor held the Commonwealth bantamweight title from 2018 to 2023, the British bantamweight title from 2019 to 2023, and the European bantamweight title from 2021 to 2023.

The second fighter to be added is an ex-pro, Robin Reid. The British middleweight boxer competed from 1993 to 2012.

He held the WBC super-middleweight title from 1996 to 1997, and the IBO super-middleweight title from 2004 to 2005.

Finally, Sergio Martinez has been added to the game. The Argentine boxer has held world championships in two weight classes, including the WBC super welterweight title from 2009 to 2010; and the unified WBC, WBO, Ring magazine and lineal middleweight titles between 2010 and 2014.

With six successful defences of the Ring and lineal middleweight titles, Martinez's 50-month reign as champion ranks as one of the longest in the history of that weight class.

New venues

As well as the trio of new boxers, Steel City has introduced four new venues to the game too.

The old-school 'Grand Theatre' has been added, as well as the 'Technicolour Gym'.

The Technicolour Gym will see you take to the ring under the coloured neon lights from which the venue gets its name.

The final two additions are a nighttime version of the existing 'Coldwell Gym' venue and a daytime version of the existing 'Empire Pro' venue.

Gameplay changes

Inside fighting has been given an update, with a new push animation added whilst responsiveness has also been improved.

Further tweaks to the judges' preferences have been made, which should ultimately produce fairer fight results.

As well as the gameplay changes, a couple of general adjustments have been made.

The fighter's team can now be seen walking with the fighter during the ring walk timelines, giving the game a greater sense of authenticity.

Motion blur settings have also now been introduced.

Bug fixes

As per usual, a few bug fixes have been implemented via Content Update #28.

The following bug fixes have been introduced:

  • Fixed a bug causing players to see their level as between 0 and 1 on the reward screen regardless of their actual level after a ranked match.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the game to apply the wrong resolution when first launched.
  • Fixed an issue causing fighter models to fail to load in the Fighter Select menu if a player returns to fighter select midway through a match.
  • Fixed an issue where the in-game pause menu would remain faintly visible after a player had navigated to other menus.
