Uncharted is finally making its PS5 debut with the Legacy of Thieves Collection. While you can buy the full game for $50, you can upgrade your old PS4 copies for a smaller fee if you still have them. If you're looking to, here's what you need to know to upgrade you PS4 copies of Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy to Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection on PS5.
Legacy of Thieves Upgrade Price
If you own Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End or Uncharted: The Lost Legacy physically or digitally on PS4, you can upgrade to the PS5 collection for $10/£10.
It's worth noting that "PlayStation Plus members who claimed Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End via their PlayStation Plus subscription are not eligible for the $10/€10 digital PS5 upgrade."
How to Upgrade to Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection Digitally
Come January 28, if you head to the PS Store and search for the new collection, you should see the option to upgrade for the smaller fee, provided you've previously purchased Uncharted 4 or The Lost Legacy digitally.
Simply select to upgrade and download from there, with the Collection icon being added to your library on PS5. You'll then be able to transfer your saves once you've loaded up the new version of the game.
How to Upgrade from PS4 Disc
If you've got the PS4 disc versions of the two games, you'll still need them. Of course, you'll need to have a disc version of the console (digital PS5 owners are simply out of luck).
Then, put the A Thief's End or The Lost Legacy disc into your console. You'll then be able to upgrade to the Legacy of Thieves Collection versions via the store. You may even be prompted right away to upgrade it right from your library menu.
Either way it should be nice and simple, you just need to put the disc into your PS5 every time you want to play. Your console won't download the digital version.
