New Game Mode
Tour de France 2022 will see the introduction of a brand-new game mode to spice up the competition.
The all-new Race of the Moment mode will allow players to compare their results online with others in weekly challenges.
Changing Course
As always, you will be able to race around France in Tour de France 2022, with this year's new course beginning in Denmark.
All 21 official new stages are in the game, including the time trial in Copenhagen to start.
From there, the race turns to Lille Métropole – Arenberg Porte du Hainaut and its cobbled sections, the iconic Hautacam climb in the 18th stage, and the final flat stage on the famous Avenue des Champs-Elysées in Paris.
TDF 2022 will see more immersive cobbled sections added, so when racing on these difficult sections, the user interface shudders, just like cyclists experience in real life.
Beat the Best
Players can use or race against some of the world's top cyclists, including the likes of Tadej Pogacar, Mathieu van der Poel, Wout van Aert and David Gaudu.
There is also three new playable teams too, with Eolo-Kometa Cycling Team, Caja Rural-Seguros RGA, and Uno-X Pro Cycling Team joining the game for the first time.
