There is a case to be made that Tottenham Hotspur have been the most consistent team in the Premier League in the past few seasons.
Since 2010, Spurs have finished in the top six in every season and, of these eight seasons, they have finished in the top four in half of them.Â
Which isn't to say that there is no progress going on in North London. Last season's second-place finish was their highest placement in the Premier League in its twenty-five-year history, beating the previous season's record high of third place.
Much of this improvement has to do with Mauricio Pochettino, who has turned Tottenham around from being perennial Nearly Men to being Premier League challengers playing some of the most attractive football in the league.
This season, the upward trajectory has continued: here are five of the most important results for Spurs from the course of this campaign.Â
