Tottenham 5-4 Leicester City: 5 things we learned

Played out under glorious sunshine with just under 78,000 people in attendance, Spurs rallied back from two-goals down in a breath-taking encounter at the home of football.

The lack of any midfield control from either side led to an open and attacking contest, as did the fact that neither side had anything significant at stake heading into this final fixture.

If anyone was expecting a subdued game bereft of passion, they were to be pleasantly surprised, however.

Two goals inside the opening 10 minutes kept the scoreboard on an even keel while a goal two minutes into the second half gave the Foxes a comfortable-looking two-goal cushion.

Appearances can be deceptive though and Tottenham were level again within 6 minutes before going on to clinch victory and seal third place in the Premier League.

It all proved enough to get Paul Gascoigne dancing in the stands and cap a fine season for the North Londoners, but what else did we see at Wembley?
